Taisho-tei was built in 1918, over a century ago.
The rooms in this wing feature original woodwork that lends each room an air of early 19th-century Japanese charm.
Emperor Hirohito, when visiting Daimaru Besso, stayed in our Kumoi room and took his meals in our Tenpai room.
Both rooms are spacious and comfortably outfitted.
